      A&R Development is looking for a Project Manager who has real estate and hotel development experience.

      A&R Development is part of the A&R Group of companies, which is a vertically integrated organization that develops, designs, builds, owns & manages branded & independent hotels in markets across the Southeast. For the past 25-years, A&R Group has distinguished itself by having an incredible culture and track record, and the Project Manager will be an important position to assist A&R Development in executing on its ever-increasing pipeline of properties.

      At A&R Group, real estate development project managers are responsible for oversight of assigned projects in the development pipeline; a Project Manager will assist in the efforts of creating / collecting project information, due diligence, statistics, data, research, and analysis items. As a project transitions from a proposed project to a physical project a Project Manager will oversee day-to-day task management. This often includes task delegation to consultants and teammates that are both senior and junior roles, as well as internal and external to A&R Group. Project managers actively present and prepare ideas to improve project outcomes and processes.

      As a critical member of the A&R Development team, the Project Manager will …

      • Lead and manage consultant teams, effectively run project meetings, track project progress, create regular project status reports, review of project progress w/ invoices, records keeping, and identifying interrupters of project schedules in order to keep projects on time and within budget.
      • Adjust project schedules and budgets as needed with company leadership overview.
      • Draft applications necessary for permitting, financing, legal, licensing, and other aspects of a project.
      • Organize and participate in the review design and engineering documents on behalf of A&R for value engineering, user experience, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, discipline coordination, errors and omission.
      • Lead and/or Assist as directed by A&R Development Director in due-diligence and pre-development process, to include delegation of responsibilities with such items as: Purchase and Sale Agreements, Franchise Agreements, Survey, Title, Zoning, Environmental, Market Feasibility, Financial Analysis, Legal, Capital, Insurance, Consultant proposals, Design, Engineering, Construction and Procurement Documents.
      • Perform other real estate development duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director, President, and/or Owner of A&R Development.
      • Contribute to a collaborative culture across A&R teams (Development, Design, Construction, Hospitality, and their investors)
      • Assist A&R managers in fine tuning and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
